Born and raised in the Basque Country in 1997 and now based in Ibiza, Spanish DJ Hugo Martinez grew up immersed in a scene where underground electronic music played a vital role—an influence that caught him early on.
It didn’t take long before a family member swung by with a mixer. The first contact was made. From that moment, Hugo displayed a unique talent: a distinctive sound that carries listeners into a musical paradigm where old and contemporary elements blend seamlessly, defying easy categorization.
His ability to create captivating, rhythm-driven soundscapes has led him to perform on many of Ibiza’s most respected stages, as well as across the Spanish mainland.
From these early steps, collaborations with prominent promoters and opportunities to share the booth with established artists soon followed—chances he seized without hesitation.
