Matteo Vanti aka Matthe was just a child when he took his first steps in the world of electronic music: since he was born his father, as Afro music dj, gave him the chance to grow up in the music and leaded Matthe's first approaches to the mixer.
br> As soon as he became a teenager, his passion for the electronic sounds started growing and at that stage he started creating his first mixed works.br> His first gig was in his hometown –Bologna- in one of the most famous and known club of Italy: Il Cassero Club. It's there that he competed at the annual dj competition where he was awarded as the best emerging dj of the Region, getting resident in the club.br>br> Soon he started gigging all over Europe, from Napoli at Minimalismi to Barcelona, and, of course, in Bologna at the Club (Selecta Night). Always charmed by the minimal sounds, he got into the production world but this is the latest part of his career. In fact, his first EP (Memento Label) is going to be reviewed in the next few weeks. Matteo has got the second Memento release after the first one by his friend and colleague Fabrizio Maurizi (aka Roger).br> Matthe's style is surely based on techno sounds, giving a leading role to the beat, moving from the darkest atmospheres to the funk style giving always the deserved importance to Detroit's sounds.
